Characteristics |
|
Second early to medium late. Blue (purple)
skin and light yellow flesh. Irregular tubers
with deep eyes. Forms many but rather small
tubers. Yield is rather low and starch
contentfairly high. Good table quality,
especially when grown on heavy clay soil
(strong smell!). Forms no berries.

Blaue nauseelander could be a synonym for
the Dutch variety Zeeuwse blauwe (or
Zeeuwsche blauwe in the old spelling).
From this variety there is for sure the
French synonym Bleue de Zelande.
